The Wernsing Group
Welcome to the family

“At Menken van den Assem, I am given the freedom to develop creative concepts and truly make an impact. We work together with passion and a strong focus on innovation. This makes every day inspiring!”

Christine, Vierlande Food-Service, Germany

what does a good life mean?
At the 2025 Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards, the world’s best corporate films and videos were honored—and we were there to celebrate! Our film “What Does a Good Life Mean?” holds special significance not only for us but also impressed the jury on site. As a result, our film was honored in Cannes with the Silver Dolphin Award in the Corporate Films and Videos category.
Our entry stood out among nearly 900 submissions from 52 countries. This award shows us that, together, we’re achieving great things within the Wernsing Food Family—and we’re especially proud of that.

The Good Life
We offer more. For everyone.
We all long for a life that offers us security and simplicity—one that brings us self-fulfillment, joy, and contentment. In short: a good life. We’ve made it our mission to contribute to this good life by laying the groundwork that benefits not only individuals but also the region and beyond. That’s why we at the Wernsing Food Family, through our corporate family, offer a modern selection: good food for a good life.
Family
Strong individually. Even stronger together.
Our recipe for success? Teamwork. Because only together can we achieve our ambitious goals. That’s why we see ourselves not just as a corporate group, but as a corporate family. We make time for one another, listen to each other, and push each other forward. While each company operates independently, every family member makes an enormously important contribution to achieving our goals. Through this synergy, we create a wide range of contemporary ideas for a good life.

Great Products
High quality. You can count on it.
At the Wernsing Food Family, our goal is to offer our customers (m/f/d) a wide variety of products that not only impress with their taste and good value for money, but also go the extra mile. During production, we focus on the efficient use of raw materials, energy, and water, as well as on careful and reliable processes. This is the only way we can ensure that our products are of the highest quality. Because only good products form the foundation for a good life.
Sustainability
Thinking holistically. Acting responsibly.
Sustainability is a key component of our corporate policy. We take economic, environmental, and social factors into account in our decision-making. We integrate these perspectives into the ongoing development of our company, products, and processes.
We view sustainability as an ongoing development process. That is why we regularly review our activities and objectives and continue to refine them as part of our business operations. Our approach is long-term and encompasses the use of resources as well as social and economic issues throughout our value chain.
For us, sustainability means systematically addressing relevant issues, defining goals, and implementing measures step by step.

The Wernsing Food Family is committed to the following goals, among others:
Explanation of SBTi Validation

Food Groups
Four groups. One common goal.
For us, diversity means new perspectives and greater flexibility. That’s why the Wernsing Food Family comprises not just one, but four so-called Food Groups that span Europe and pursue a common goal: to create contemporary offerings. Our Wernsing Food Group (WFG), Bieze Food Group (BFG), Popp Food Group (PFG), and Food-Service Group (FSG) are thus able to distribute high-quality food products in Germany, Poland, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, and the Benelux countries that meet every requirement.
